AI21 has launched Jamba Reasoning 3B, a compact, open-source 3-billion-parameter language model designed for consumer devices.
This model features a large context window and can quickly process text on laptops and phones.
AI21's Co-CEO Ori Goshen thinks the Jamba Reasoning 3B is a step towards a future of smaller AI models, reducing a reliance on massive data centers by allowing powerful models to run on devices.
